It was getting dark faster than Kiba had expected. The white wolf was starting to feel anxious with each passing moment as the world started to get darker. The large male wasn't the kind of creature that feared the night most of the time, but when it was that time he couldn't help but feel nervous. Even here in the woods, the safest place that he could ever be at a time like this he still felt uneasy. At least he wasn't in the city anymore. It had been almost a month since Kiba had made his way out of the human infested town into the forest. This place was like a godsend to the wolf. Finally, a place that he could be free. There was no need anymore for him to hide during the day out of fear of being hunted down by humans, no longer would he spend most of his days starving because there was little game for him to hunt, or even worse, having to go through trash for a meal like some stray mutt, no more would he have to deal with the stink of the city, and the loud noises of cars and other loud obnoxious contraptions of mankind. Here in the forest he could hunt till his stomach was full, and the only thing he had to worry about was other bigger animals that might try to challenge him.
This place was perfect for him most of the time. But tonight he couldn't enjoy his time here. For tonight was the night of the new moon. It was only a matter of time before the change began. When that happened the male would be at his weakest. Kiba ran through the forest as fast as he could towards his temporary den. If only he hadn't ventured out as far as he had today. The wolf had been so preoccupied in hunting that he hadn't noticed how much time had passed since his hunt began. Thanks to that he might not make it back in time, and if he failed to go back home he would be in trouble. The last thing Kiba needed was to be stuck out in the open in his weakened state. Once he lost his fangs and his claws Kiba was virtually powerless. All it would take was some other resident in this forest to find him and try to do him harm and he would be hurt or worse, dead.
Kiba ran as fast as he could but night was quickly catching up with him. By the time he was nearly there he could feel the change coming. It started with a tingling sensation running through his body, the sensation grew more intense as time passed. It was going to happen soon, he knew it but he fought back anyway. That was when the pain started. It always started whenever he tried to stop the change, making the whole process even more unpleasant than it normally was. The male growled as the pain grew more intense but he kept running. He was close now, just a little further and he would reach it. He wasn't going to let his body win this time, he would push back against his own instincts till he made it to safety. The pain wasn't making it easy though, the longer he fought against it the more it build, by the time he saw his 'den' it was almost unbearable.
Kiba made a beeline for the abandoned house, running past the open door before stopping. He had reached his limit, he couldn't stop it now. The male screamed as his lupine body went through its change. Where the wolf had been a man now laid, panting heavily as he waited for the pain to finally subside before sitting up. “Damn....this....body...” the man growled as he sat up, his blue eyes glaring down at what had used to be his paws. He hated this form with a passion but there was nothing he could do about it now. At least he had made it back to the house, the one place that he could safely hide his shame from the world.

Closing her eyes tightly, Sydnee could feel her eyes flickering back and forth between her human form and her Succubus form... She was growing weak. Her hair growing darker with each passing moment and her skin beginning to lose it's color. She knew she hadn't fed in some time, and that she would soon go into the phase of instinct. Sydnee's mind would grow into a blur and her body would take over for survival.
Hunt. Feed. Live.
As darkness over flowed her mind, Sydnee knew she had to feed soon otherwise she would completely lose control. Sydnee was currently located in a small food joint located close enough to the woods, there she looked out her next targets. Relived Sydnee saw two men looking for an easy lay...This would almost be too easy. Standing up from her table, Sydnee walked over to the two men who were downing their last drink. Tapping on their shoulder slightly, Sydnee sent off empathetic controlling wave through their body. Almost like a chemical control within the emotions of the brain. Her words came off like velvet to them, and seemed to reel them in like fish.
"So...When you are done at this silly joint. How about the two of you join me outside...? Maybe we could find something a little more fun to do in this town."
Allowing a small smile to form upon her face, Sydnee then turned away and exited the building. Then men followed as though in a trance. Sydnee led them straight towards the forest, where she then changed into her Succubus form. With a small chuckle, Sydnee's eyes went white. Bringing her lips to the first man's, she could slowly feel the soul draining form his very body. She knew she wouldn't get all the soul she needed to sustain her without having sex with the man...But she knew with the two of them she could get enough. As the man's energy began to drain, and Sydnee felt him slowly slipping away, she moved onto the other man. Her goal wasn't exactly to kill these men, not just tonight at least. Brushing her lips against the second man's, she could almost taste the alcohol on his breath, the tension in his lips, and the pain within his soul.
The soul, even when being consumed, can tell an entire story about a person. This man only came out with his friend to drink out of pain...Sydnee sensed he was emotionally drained but she couldn't tell too much about him as his life force began slowly draining. Pulling away quickly, Sydnee lowered the man who was know knocked out next to the other man who had slide down upon the ground just prior.
"Goodnight boys," Sydnee whispered softly as she looked herself over and then what was around her.
The souls hadn't kicked in just yet...so she was still rather fatigue...She couldn't return to town just yet...So instead..She decided to take a small slightly. Letting out a soft sigh, Sydnee allowed her wings to begin to move...taking in all the air of the region and forcing her off the ground. There had to be something interesting around here, Right? Sydnee figured such a theory seeing as though it was a Super Natural Free for All here basically. As her wings carried her over the tree's Sydnee knew the souls were beginning to fuel her, otherwise she would have fallen by now. But she knew this fuel would only last so long...Looking below in a study-like manner, Sydnee eventually located something out of the usual....Was that....a house? Tipping her head slightly, Sydnee changed the direction of her wings until she had reached the ground once more. Walking carefully up to the house, Sydnee observed it for several moments before speaking.
"Anyone here...?"

The pain was starting to die off now, but was still fading away to slowly for Kiba's liking. That was what he got for fighting the change. The transition between his wolf and human form most of the time went by very quickly, it was easier to do too when he actually willed himself to change. On the rare occassions that he swallowed his pride and turned to his human form he couldn't feel any pain at all. It was only when the moon vanished from the night sky that any pain came. Even then it was only minor, just a few seconds of uncomfortableness and it was all over. But when he fought the change that made it unbearable. Kiba had learned that the hard way. The male couldn't remember much about how or why this was happening to him, but he could remember the first night when he changed like this. At the time Kiba didn't know what was going on with him, so when the sensation started he struggled. He had spent nearly half an hour thrashing on the ground in agony before his body changed shape, and then he spent the rest of the night throwing up afterwards. After that it had gotten easier. He learned not to hold it back, but some nights, like this he couldn't avoid fighting. It was bad to remain outside as a human in this place. He was too weak and vulnerable to fend for himself. Besides he couldn't stand the shame of it all.
The male let out a sad sigh. What was he really? Was he really a wolf? Was he human? Or something else entirely? These were thoughts that always plagued his mind in times like this. While most of his past had been forgotten Kiba could remember tiny fragments of the life he lived before he came into this world. What little he could recall was enough to tell him that he was more of a wolf than a human. He could remember growing up as a little pup, snuggled up next to his mother for warmth against the cold. He could remember the first time he stepped out of the den with his siblings for the first time, he could recall his first hunt, and many other things. All of those memories were that as being a wolf but not a single one had been of a human. If he was a human or if the rest of the pack he grew up with could shift into humans then why did none of these memories show a human's life? At first he had thought he had been cursed somehow, maybe he had angered the wolf gods somehow and they gave him this foul body? But as time passed he became more unsure about that theory. There was just too much that he didn't know.
And perhaps he would never know. With so little memories and no way to recall them there was a chance Kiba would never uncover the truth about himself. It was sad and frustrating but there wasn't anything that he could do about it. Not tonight anyway. Tonight would be a long and uneventful night. Now that Kiba got to his den, or rather house, safely he didn't need to worry about being discovered. The only thing he needed to worry about was sleeping this off till daybreak came. Sleep was a tempting idea. Now that the pain of his transformation had died down Kiba was feeling tired. Kiba slowly rose to his feet and started to head deeper into the house to lay down in his usual spot when he heard a voice. The male froze where he stood and looked up in surprise. What was that? Was someone here? No, this was bad, very bad. Whatever had entered his domain had spoken as a human. This could only mean two things, one that his home had been invaded by humans, or two something just as dangerous was coming inside.
There was no way for the male to tell what it was from here. While Kiba kept some of his basic senses they were dulled thanks to his human form. There was no way that the male could sniff out the intruder from here. The only way he would know was if he went face to face with the intruder. That wasn't the best idea at the moment in his weakened state. He might be able to fend off a human if he had to, provided they were not armed but a supernatural was another story. Fighting wasn't the best idea to do as he was, but he couldn't just leave either. If he abandoned his home not only would he lose his cover for the night but he risked losing his territory all together. He couldn't just give up his territory after how long he spent in the city with nothing. Kiba stayed silent but he slowly started to move towards the sound of the voice. Whoever it was he would have to stand up against. With any luck he could scare them off without much trouble. If not...well, whatever happened happened. There was little he could do about it if things came to that.
Silent as a shadow Kiba made his approach around the front entrance to see what he was facing. What he saw was a strange creature that he didn't recognize. At least it wasn't human, but its form was very close to one. He would have mistaken it as such if it wasn't for the wings and the scent. The scent she gave off was interesting, it kind of reminded him of another female he had met before when he first arrived in New Orlands. Kiba didn't know what that female was but he could remember her name. Simone. This wasn't Simone though, they smelled nothing a like. They probably weren't of the same species either, at best they came from roughly the same breed but the scent was too different to be closely related. Kiba had to be careful with this one. If things came down to a fight he had no idea just how powerful this female was. Kiba watched her for a moment, staying well out of sight so that she wouldn't spot him just yet but he at least made his presence known. “Yes someone is here, and its in your best interest for you to leave that someone alone.” Kiba growled. He wasn't ready to show himself yet but he couldn't help but give the female a warning. With any luck she would take the hint and leave him alone. But knowing his track record of getting people to leave him in peace that wasn't likely.

Sydnee's succubus form had faint similarities of a human, but there were still details that would make her different than your typical human. These details included her almost white skin, the brilliant wings upon her back, and her gray eyes that would change to white in times of feeding. Or in particular times of control loss, turn black. She felt almost like a stranger when in her succubus form, though she knew that this was her true form. Sydnee adored her Succubus form far more than her fleshy human-like look, but she knew the best way to blend in was to look the role of your average human. Looking herself over, Sydnee let out a soft sigh. She was completely under dressed, but hadn't even noticed till now due to her hunger earlier.
The hunger was still within the back of her head. Ticking in her mind constantly like a clock. Tic, Tic, Tic....The hunger never went away, but Sydnee could make it subside for various moments at a time. Sydnee had learned to control this hunger...But she knew if she didn't feed herself in slow amounts at a time...it would one day take over. Causing her eyes to glaze over with complete darkness...she would become the animal hidden so deep inside her. She would feed and feed enough to kill absolutely anyone in her way and not recall a thing until her instinct felt content...Full even... Being full for a Succubus means that they consumed far more souls than nature would intend. Though feeding on souls is against Human's beliefs and natures balance as is, Succubi would have to kill up to twenty within an hour to become the sensation of "Full". Sydnee's typical tactics of feeding never included killing someone off completely. She would feed on a person until she felt them start slip away, then she would leave them to rest in peace. While being sexual with someone, their more vulnerable, and they seem to release more of their soul. Which is the primary reason why Succubi usually feed at such times. But this obviously wasn't always the case in times of need.
Sydnee returned from her own thoughts as she heard a males voice. How strange someone would be so far out here at this time of night... Sydnee smiled faintly as she heard the minor threat the man within the house spit out at her. Did this man have something to hide? Or was he that in-secure? Sydnee wasn't sure just yet why this man seemed so grumpy, but she did plan to find out. Placing her hand on the door once more, Sydnee applied just enough pressure to break the door open to give her an easy entrance. Taking a couple careful steps, Sydnee looked around for a moment allowing some strands of her hair to fall to the side of her face. "I guess I will just have to huff and puff and blow your door down then.." Sydnee was speaking in merely a playful tone at this time as she allowed her eyes to wander about the room. She actually meant no harm here for once...But with the males attitude...she began to be more curious, and wondered if the man would become a threat of sorts.
Taking one more step inside, Sydnee carefully closed the door behind her. Taking the door knob carefully within her hand, she crushed it just barely enough to damage the lock, allowing nobody to leave just yet. The man wasn't within her sights just yet, but she knew she could change such factors easily... Strangely enough, Succubi are spectacular trackers, especially in such a small spaced. Releasing her hand from the now partially crushed door knob, Sydnee then spoke softly once more. "I would recommend you show yourself...Let's not do this the difficult way my dear.."
Watching the various Shadows of the room, Sydnee tipped her head slightly. "Or shall we make this a game...?" Smiling even more so now, Sydnee stretched back slightly. A Game. The thought was thrilling all itself. Though, of course, Sydnee would much rather that this event not be another beat around the bush. The sooner the man came out, the sooner Sydnee could put this entire puzzle together. Was this a human afraid of creatures? If so why would he be out here... Or was this a rather strong creature wanting to be alone...But then...The question was...Why all the way out here? The theories only became more and more interesting, all the possibilities would make any average person nervous...But instead, they thrilled Sydnee.

This was probably the worst thing that could have happened to Kiba tonight. The wolf had worked very hard to keep his little condition a secret. During his stay in New Orlands the male had to work extra hard just to hide himself whenever he had to become human. The dangers of having his secret exposed was so high in the city that he could barely take it. So when Kiba had found the forest, and this old building here in it he had thought he had finally caught a break. At last he found the perfect place to stay safe. He had an area where he could run freely as a wolf with little fear of being singled out, and to top it off he had the perfect place to hide his shameful human form when the new moon rolled around. But it looked like he had made a terrible mistake. This place was far from safe. It had only been his first new moon in this building and already he was at risk of having his secret exposed. It was all thanks to this intruder. Kiba never thought he would ever miss his true form more than he already did tonight. It was bad enough having to deal with an intruder under normal circumstances.
Even as a wolf Kiba had his limits. There were some creatures out there in the world that could easily kill them if he wasn't careful. As a human he was even more vulnerable to just about anything. He didn't have a gun or any kind of traps that those bastards were fond of using on his kind to help him here. How could he fight in this form? Kiba had never had the chance to learn how humans fought without the use of tools, but maybe tonight he would learn. If he was going to have to learn tonight then he would have to learn fast. Who knew how dangerous this female was? Kiba was smart enough to know not to underestimate his opponents when it came to appearance or gender. Just because something looked harmless didn't always mean it was, and just because it was female didn't mean it was weak. Female wolves were just as powerful as their male counterparts, some even had the power to control an entire pack on their own. If his kind could do that what did that say about females of other species?
Kiba knew he was going to be in for a challenge with this one the second she came through the door. The male stayed hidden and watched the female enter his domain. He frowned as he watched her break the door knob. He could have cared less what happened to the damn thing, but just seeing her crush the thing in her hand was enough to tell him that this female was too strong for him to handle right now. Try as he might his warning didn't phase her. The strange female even had the gull to demand that he show himself. A low growl escaped his lips. He really did not like this female. She was toying with him, it was plain as day for him to see. She thought so little of him that she was treating him like he was prey. Maybe he was prey? As much as he hated to accept something like that he was hardly in a position to argue about it. He was a weak pathetic human, and would remain that way for the rest of the night. His only hope of defending himself and his territory was to wait for daybreak to come. Sadly that would be far too late. Night had only just begun, there was no way he could hide away from this creature for so long.
What was he going to do? Would he play into her hands and show himself like she asked? Or would he try to hide while this female hunted him down like a frightened deer? Both options annoyed him, but he had to pick something and quickly. If the wolf had to make a choice between the two there was only one option that was the least painful. With a sigh Kiba took a step out of his hiding place to face her. It was shameful having to show this form to anyone but what choice did he have? This female wouldn't leave if he hid, and if he tried to spend the entire night trying to hide away from her she would see him anyway. At least this way he wouldn't be seen as both a human and a coward. “I am in no mood to play games tonight.” the male said, his brilliant blue eyes stared back at the female coldly. “If you wish to play games then go elsewhere tonight. This place doesn't belong to you and I don't want you staying here any longer than you already have. Go away and leave me in peace.”

As they sat in silence for a couple moments, Sydnee allowed the cold night air to brush against her skin. Any typical person would get goosebumps...but not her...she never got such feelings in this form...She felt almost immune to the true beauty of the nature around her. The cool of the night air, the heat of the brilliant sun...The chill of the snow just barely brushing and melting against the skin. It was everything Sydnee lived without...but sometimes wished for. Such feelings made Sydnee curious what this man felt? Could what he felt or saw the world as be the reason he was hiding here? Everything still seemed to be a jumbled puzzle...
Looking around the room for a moment Sydnee awaited the man's response, and to say the least...she was slightly disappointed with his response. Allowing her small smile to fall into a disappointed frown, Sydnee's eyes shifted slightly in color allowing her to locate the man within the darkness. This wasn't exactly what she had expected from tonight, but it seemed he felt the same way. After all...Not all people really enjoyed the company of others, especially those who seemed to hide within the depths of the forest at this time of night. But, just because the man didn't want company, didn't mean Sydnee was going to give him the choice.
Sydnee's eyes continued to browse the room until she paused and settled her eyes in one general area. "Bingo" Sydnee noted softly to herself, but still loud enough for the man to hear if he was listening. She had found the man, now there was the conflict on what her next form of action would be. She really didn't want to cause conflict at the moment...but she definitely wasn't going to back down at this point. Sydnee rocks on her heals for a moment before sitting upon the ground facing the direction where she had sensed the man. Things were just now beginning to get rather interesting. Allowing her wings to relax against her back, Sydnee felt some relief from pressure. Carefully, Sydnee stretched her legs out in front of her and allowed her legs to cross at the ankles. The silence fell over the room once more for a couple of moments as Sydnee allowed the tension to sooth down. This man had caught Sydnee's interest with his stubborn nature, and though Sydnee knew that wasn't his intention...He was now stuck with her for the night.
Sydnee had become rather advanced at tracking the last time she had been in town. While she wasn't hunting for her next meal she had been tracking her lover and her affair...Keeping them apart had worked for a while...But nothing last forever. The last time Sydnee was in town, the town ended up in destruction over Sydnee not being able to control her own hunger and desires. She felt as though she was a disgrace to emotions and to her own kind... Succubi were supposed to act on their hunger and based the actions off of their instinct...But Sydnee looked into the emotional aspect. And it seemed the moment she allowed herself to fall in love...She ended up hurting more people than she could have ever imagined. Such conflict within her mind made Sydnee wonder...should she be kind to this man? Or would it be safer just to allow instinct to kick in and consume his soul...Oh how the hunger would grow inside her...The taste and texture...The energy roaming through her body...It all screamed her name...It caused her to go threw withdraws just thinking about it...Sydnee knew better with this situation...She knew she couldn't hunt someone who already seemed so uncomfortable around people as is...Sydnee was beginning to feel weaker and weaker in this town already...But, her mind was made up.
Placing her palms carefully upon the cold ground beside her, Sydnee gave a reassuring smile. "Sydnee." Pausing for a brief moment, Sydnee adjusted her sitting position carefully before she spoke once more, "My name is Sydnee. And you are?" Watching where the man was located carefully, Sydnee allowed her entire body to relax. She was hoping this would help prove that she truly was no threat to this man. But by the way he was acting, she could that body motions wouldn't even be enough to prove she meant no threat to this man. It seemed only time would tell.

Kiba didn't like doing what he just did but there was very little that he could do in this situation. This female was a threat to him. He didn't know who she was or what she was doing here, but for whatever reason she had come to this place looking for someone and she found him. Her motives for being here were a mystery. Was this female looking for a fight? Or was she on the prowl for prey? While Kiba didn't have much knowledge about his own identity he wasn't so blind when it came to the other races in the world. He knew that there were plenty of creatures in this world that hunted humans. Some even went as far as disguise themselves as humans so they could get closer to their victims. Under normal circumstances Kiba didn't worry about these beings. Creatures like them hardly had any interest in beings like him, but now with the moon gone all of that changed. It was easy to mistake him as being human while he was stuck like this. If this female took humans as her prey then he was in trouble. It was because of this that Kiba chose to stand his ground. Hiding would do him no good here. The female wasn't going to leave so she would have eventually found him, and if he tried to run he would lose his den. He couldn't let that happen, he couldn't allow himself to become prey to anyone.
So he showed his face. Kiba rose from his hiding spot and walked out towards the female. He kept his head held high as he glared down at the intruder. She might have gotten what she wanted from him now but that didn't mean he was going to let her win this confrontation. Kiba was set on coming out on top here. Despite his weakness now he refused to roll over for anyone. He had too much pride in himself to suffer such humiliation. So Kiba stood his ground and waited for the females next move. In that moment he was prepared for anything the creature might throw at him. Just judging from the way she was acting he expected her to fight him, or at least challenge him. To his surprise she didn't do either. Instead of more threats, or even a witty comeback the female made herself comfortable on the ground and introduced herself.
The expression on the male's face turned from angry to surprised at her actions. What was going on here? Why was she acting so calm? He had pretty much challenged her and tried to intimidate her, the least she should have done was act just as hostile back. But she didn't. He was confused but he tried his best to recover from it. “My name is no concern of yours.” he replied, the male studied the creature called Sydnee for a moment. Kiba still felt confused about this female. All the hostility she had shown before had vanished. Her body language had become lax now. Maybe she wasn't as much of a threat anymore? Even so he wasn't too happy about her presence. Sydnee was still an intruder and she saw what he was. Well...only a part of what he was. She hadn't seen him transform earlier so there was no way for her to know just what he was at a glance. His secret was safe for now but he would need to get rid of her in order to keep it that way. “I don't like to repeat myself. I told you to leave now get out.”

Sydnee knew at this point the male was trying to keep hold of his ground, which did make her wonder if this was merely a pride game. The entire thought was a little humorous. Was he really going to go this far to prove a point? And what was the point...? As the man got closer, Sydnee could tell his scent was different, but without a taste of his soul she wouldn't be able to tell exactly what he was. The scent definitely wasn't one of a human though...It was strange actually...and it seemed as though they both weren't everything they seemed. A small laugh slipped from Sydnee's lips, as the thought seemed more and more apparent. "So, you are not human...Even though you look as one." Sydnee allowed herself to observe the man for a moment with a small smile forming upon her face. "I think I will call you by Concern then, seeing as you seem so concerned of my company.."
At this point there was a fully formed grin resting upon Sydnee's face, but her body language remained the same. She hadn't moved much besides the occasion adjustment for comfort. But even then there seemed to be only peacefu. vibes about her body. How her legs seemed so relaxed against one another, and how her wings were completely rested down her back....There seemed absolutely no tension. Sydnee honestly didn't know what this man might or might not have up his sleeve but she did plan on finding out....If he tried attacking then Sydnee would have another meal for the night, and if he didn't....then maybe Sydnee might just have someone to speak to or bother for the night. Now it was time to see how far Sydnee could actually push the man without coming off with threats. Kinda like a game, but without the toying around. Most knew Sydnee's favorite games as mind games...She was determined to eventually get some form of information from this man. The puzzle this man had formed Sydnee was determined to solve...No matter what it took. "So do you dress like a human Concern because you enjoy the look of humans or...are they like role models of yours...?" Sydnee's voice trailed off for a couples moments as she remained seated.
The man seemed completely un-interested in company of any kind, but it was a good thing Sydnee wasn't asking at this point. If there were more entertaining things to do tonight, then she might have left within the first warning...but the town was dead on the week day nights and plus, the man now made himself a character of interest. The moment she is told to leave or is challenged with anger, Sydnee buries her feet in the dirt and doesn't budge from her views. There was no way she was going to allow this man that she now named "Concern" win this battle. "I think I will stay...I am seeming to enjoy it here actually."

What was Kiba going to do with this creature? The longer that the former wolf conversed with this intruder the more he came to realize that he didn't know how to deal with her. Kiba had tried the most obvious approach, being hostile. He made it clear that this place was his territory and he had no intentions of allowing anyone in his area. All of this the female simply ignored. It was pretty obvious that this creature wasn't stupid. She knew what she was doing. She was for whatever reason intent on getting on his bad side tonight. Well if that was what she wanted then she had it already. Kiba was not happy about this situation. This female was becoming a real pain in his ass, just like Simone had been in the past. It was almost funny in a sick and twisted way, the two smelled fairly similar and even acted similar. He couldn't help but compare the two. Both females were an oddity to him, and they both were pretty nosy and loved to get on his bad side.
Just like with Simone Kiba didn't know how to deal with the female named Sydnee. In nature when one beast ran into another beast's territory a few things were likely to happen. One party would start off by trying to scare the other one off, they'd try to make themselves seem bigger or stronger than the other, the two would size each other up and then they'd fight or one party would give up and leave. Leaving was hardly an option for Kiba. He was in no condition to protect himself tonight if he abandoned his home, but fighting this female wasn't much of an option either. A fight could end up very badly for him, besides it didn't look like the female had any interest in attacking him either. She really was an odd one. While by ignoring his challenge she was in a sense challenging him right back, but the way she acted suggested that the last thing she wanted was to fight like custom dictated. If anything she seemed rather curious about him.
A little too curious for her own good. Kiba watched as Sydnee looked him over before speaking once more. The male merely growled when she stated that he clearly wasn't what his body tried to make him out to be but he didn't say anything. It looked like Sydnee might have sharper senses than some supernaturals if she could tell that much. That or she had enough intelligence to make a decent guess. She could try all she liked to try and piece together what he really was but he wasn't going to tell her anything. Why should he? He had no interest in company tonight and never would any other night. All he wanted was to be left alone to his own misery, not have more added onto him. Sadly for him all he would have tonight was misery. While the male was reluctant to give out his real name the female was more than happy to give him one of her own making.
“Don't call me that.” Kiba growled. Who the hell did this female think she was to be giving him names? He wasn't some lost pup that this female could give stupid names to. To add insult to injury not only did she give him a really stupid name but she started insinuating that he was actually fond of his human appearance. If Kiba didn't seem pissed before he really looked the part now. “Don't make assumptions about me Sydnee. I'm not so despicable that I would ever lower myself to trying to be a human. If you ever say something like that to me again I will rip your tongue to make you shut up for good.” the male snarled back before he realized what he had said. Kiba wasn't too good at keeping secrets, especially when he was upset. That was one of the reasons he kept to himself for so long. This female had just came into his life and already he nearly made it slip that he wasn't in this form by choice. This was bad, he needed to avoid this conversation before he revealed too much about himself.
The poor male's tolerance was running short. He was done with all of this, all he wanted to do was rest but this damn female would not let him. Like it or not she was here to stay, she made that clear pretty quickly. “Fine, have it your way.” the male growled. If she wasn't going to leave then he sure as hell will. Kiba didn't wait for a reply when he stormed out of the room to go to his sleeping spot. While he couldn't leave the house tonight he wasn't going to stand out here just for Sydnee's amusement. Kiba moved into another room and laid down on his makeshift bed. While the wolf refused to wear human clothes, they did at least make decent bedding when he was stuck in this form. He didn't care at this point what the creature called Sydnee planned to do at this point. Tonight he was going to get as much sleep as he could, so when tomorrow came he would have enough energy to leave. Thanks to this female he couldn't live in this place anymore. He would have to find himself a new place in the forest that he could hide in when the next moonless night came. Somewhere far away from this creature.

The threats made didn't mean much to Sydnee, for if the man was going to do something by now, he would have. If nothing else, these threats of ripping her tongue out were more thrilling than scary to Sydnee. How tempting and dangerous such ordeals sounded....Oh the temptation of walking on the dark side. Sydnee could slowly feel the game ending though...so was this the time to prove that wasn't giving up just yet? Though Sydnee hadn't gotten all the information she had been hoping for, she had received some slight information...This man wasn't human like his scent had given off, and he wasn't in this form by choice. How interesting Sydnee thought to herself...Maybe a shifter of some kind? Though still uncertain, Sydnee didn't specialize in shifters or morphers of any form.
Watching as the man got up and exited the room, Sydnee gave him a couple moments to fall under the illusion that he would be alone. After several minutes, Sydnee followed the man and sat close to where he was lying down. Oh, he thought he was just going to get off that easy? That was a joke. Tipping her head slightly, Sydnee frowned, it was funny how the one time she tried actually talking to someone rather than eating them...they truly weren't in the mood for company. Letting out a soft sigh, Sydnee pushed the man over softly. "Hey...I'm sorry...I...I just kinda needed a place to hide out for a while myself..."
Sydnee looked away slightly as she awaited the man to retaliate in anger once more. At this point it was obvious that the man had some serious trust issues...Or issues with being around people in general. After all, he seemed to hide out here far away from people, and to top it off had a true hatred for humans. Though he didn't seem to like the name Sydnee had awared him, he truly fit the name she gave him well. Concern. The man seemed so concerned on keeping his dignity, being alone, being hidden away..He truly fit the name Concern. But it would seem typical that everyone would notice such a factor besides the person that it is actually about. With no name from this man, no certain race beyond broad guesses, and hostility flaring off the mans body...Sydnee could tell there would be obvious issues trying to get any form of communication from this man. But that didn't mean she wouldn't try.
Looking out one of the shadowy windows located in the room, Sydnee stood up carefully and walked over towards it. Making a slight face in pain, Sydnee felt some of her hunger return. She could feel her skin ache in thirst, and her body scream for more. But, for now she would have to ignore the cravings...For now she would have to bury the monster she truly was deep down. "Do you always hide out here...I mean in this house at this time of night...?" The question flew right past Sydnee's lips before she could even give it a second thought. What about this man made Sydnee so curious? Was it just that he was still a mystery to her? The people around here just got stranger and stranger...

Kiba was done with this encounter. The wolf always had problems when it came to interacting with other creatures. His own need for privacy and short temper made it hard for him to get along with anyone. As lonely as he was Kiba knew better than to associate himself with anyone if he didn't want anyone to know what happened to him during this kind of night. When this female came into his den he was already in no mood for company, and when she spoke to him she pissed him off. Her last words had set him off more than he thought they would. Suppose that was an accomplishment in of itself. It wasn't every day that he threatened such violence to anyone. If this female had been planning to get some amusement out of him then she got it. She had angered the beast, but now her fun was over. Kiba wasn't going to entertain her anymore. The male left the room so he could get some rest. He wasn't in the mood for a fight, nor was he in the mood to take her questions. He didn't care anymore if she stayed in the house or not, so long as she didn't bother him anymore.
Of course hoping for peace and quit from the female was a stupid dream. His luck had already proven to be running out the moment that Sydnee had walked through the door so it should not have been surprising at all when she followed him to his sleeping spot. The poor man had only just closed his eyes when he heard the female's footsteps enter the room. His body tensed at the sound of her presence but he didn't move. No, he was done playing games with her. He had to get some rest tonight if he was going to be able to do anything by tomorrow. There was a lot that he needed to get done once dawn came about. He needed to hunt and explore deeper in the forest for a new territory to claim for himself, all of which he needed to do before night fell so he wouldn't be stuck outside as a human. Kiba tried to relax, but soon enough Sydnee put a stop to that. The male's body tensed up once more at her touch and he growled at her. “Find somewhere else to hide, or at the very least leave me alone.” Damn this irksome female and her meddling. Couldn't he get a break for once in his miserable life?
For a moment Kiba actually thought he might finally catch a break. He could hear Sydnee move away from him. Was she finally leaving him alone? No, of course not. The female asked him another question, making the male sigh. This was going to be one hell of a sleepless night. “This is my home, where else would I stay?” the male replied. Well, this was his home no longer. Thanks to Sydnee he'd have to move again. Kiba felt saddened by that thought. He wasn't too fond of living in a human made shelter but it was the best place that he could hide away in when he was forced into his human body. Without this place he would have to find a poorer substitute. A cave might make a decent substitute but he would have to find one somewhere before tomorrow night. If he didn't he would have to risk coming back here and have Sydnee find him again, that or risk exposing himself to the outside and the dangers that lurked there.

Listening to the man for several moments, Sydnee frowned, he had a point...This probably was his home...and Sydnee just intruded like it was nobodies business. It seemed she just never really understood the concept of a home. The game had grown boring as the man seemed to shut down more and more. Sydnee had been playing nice...she had been trying to play kind with this strange man whom she knew she could tear apart. But how did this creature repay her? By being a completely ass towards Sydnee. The tension began returning to very pore of Sydnee's body as temptation came rocking into her mind...Would she turn on the man, or maintain control? With narrowing eyes, Sydnee felt the wrinkles upon her fore head form slightly with frustration.
In no time Sydnee would lose control if she couldn't figure out how to cope with this situation..In no time Sydnee would become the stranger she hides away so often. All the relaxation that had course through Sydnee's body seemed to now be slowly escaping from each of the thousands of pore placed all over her body. But just as she was about to release the monster deep inside...Sydnee relaxed completely. Her eyes calmed and her body language returned to their original state. The thoughts beginning to roam within her mind made a very small and sly smile slip upon her face. This was her opportunity to learn this man...and this was her opportunity to apologize for intruding. This was Sydnee's chance to prove that she hadn't lost her touch.
Turning away from the window, Sydnee was once again facing the man. "You aren't human by choice...and by your scent I will guess a Shifter...A shifter by the moons variety?" Shrugging slightly, Sydnee looked at the sky once more. "Maybe the New Moon like tonight...It's the only option that would make sense..." Starring out the window for several moments, Sydnee seemed to grow lost in her thoughts once more.
Sydnee awaited several more moments before turning back to the man. She was trying to give him PLENTY of time to respond in a smart allic way. Taking a couple careful steps, Sydnee approached the man and allowed her eyes to shift into a bright gray like color. With this gesture of touch, Sydnee could not use her Empathetic emotion manipulation abilities. It was a signal that pulsed through Sydnee's body into whomever she was in contact with, from the point Sydnee could direct the pulse to make the person feel however Sydnee please. And if used correctly, this could also manipulate the person into doing whatever Sydnee said. This didn't always work from occasion to occasion but maybe this could calm the man down enough to be just a bit more honest. Which was the only vibe Sydnee send through the man at this very moment...Relax, calm...Sydnee knew the answer already but had to start with a simple question.Frowning faintly Sydnee observed the man. "What did the humans do to you?"

An uncomfortable silence fell between the two after the male spoke. It was a foolish thing at this point for Kiba to wish that this met the female was finally giving up, but he couldn't help it. The wolf wanted nothing more than to be left in peace for one night. Out of all the nights to have someone bother him this one was the worst. Had Kiba not suffered enough already? Ever since he had come into this stupid town he had run into nothing but trouble. He had come to this town starving and alone, he had struggled to live his life out on the streets, scrounging for food as much as he possibly could, while at the same time trying not to be spotted by humans that would try to hunt him down later. It had been a hard life to live, and even that life had been done poorly. Kiba failed to keep completely hidden, he had his fair share of uncomfortable encounters with people he had no desire to be around, a few had been with humans as well.
All of that should have stopped when he had found the forest, but his hopes had quickly been dashed the moment Sydnee came into the picture. There was no such thing as peace in this world. Kiba's life of self isolation would always be thwarted by nosey individuals that didn't know when to leave well enough alone. Like this female for instance. Sydnee was being a nuisance, a nuisance that Kiba was determined to ignore. He would have to ignore her if he hoped to get her out of his damn place. He had done everything short of actually carrying out his threats. Boy did he want to actually carry out his threats. Sydnee had been bad enough to deserve a nip at least, but without the fangs to do so there would be no biting tonight. It didn't help that he felt drained already from his transformation, it was slowly zapping his will to fight despite his rage. Since violence was out of the question giving her the silent treatment would have to do. She could hardly keep an interest in him if he kept his mouth shut right?
Giving her none of his attention though was a lot harder than he had anticipated. After a brief period of silence the female spoke again. There she went again, trying to figure just what he was. He would have just ignored her words if her guesses weren't so close to the truth. Kiba sat up from his bedding to look back in Sydnee's direction, blue eyes regarding the female coldly. He kept his mouth shut but his eyes said it all. He did not like where she was going with this and wanted her to stop. Sydnee wasn't done yet, far from it. The female was just getting started. Kiba watched as the female walked towards him. The male sat there perfectly still as she came closer, waiting for her next move. If she did something, anything wrong he was not going to hold back this time. He was ready for any attack she would throw at him.
Sydnee didn't attack him though. When the female was close enough she reached out to touch him. Kiba tensed for a moment as she reached out for him. Without warning he grabbed the female's wrist to stop her, but the moment he came into contact with her something strange happened. He calmed down. A strange feeling enveloped the male. He didn't know how or why he felt the way he did, but he started to relax. Kiba released the woman just before she asked him what had happened between him and man kind. The male looked away as flashes of his past came back to him. How he had lost his pack after being hunted down by humans. Even being caged up. “I've....lost plenty to them.” he admitted. “I've lost my family, my home, and for a time my freedom. There is plenty that those vermin have done to me. And now....for some reason I can turn into one of them.” It was like some cruel sick joke. What had happened to him that he became like this?

The room growing quiet with these two seemed a common trait. Neither really knew how to take the other. The man only seemed to take Sydnee as a threat, but this had to be for some reason...Something had to have happened to the man at some point for him to feel this way about people....And it seemed to be a feeling for not only humans, but for various other creatures as well.
Sydnee didn't seem to surprised when he grabbed her wrist, and didn't fight it weirdly enough. This was mostly due to the fact that she knew the moment they came in contact...she had maintained some control of the situation... Sydnee watched as the man released her arm and then began focusing more upon her question. Sydnee hated taking advantage of people like this...but she really meant no harm being here, nor asking such questions...The reality of the situation was Sydnee was just curious. But had her curiosity gone too far? Was she now pushing herself into monster territories? Sighing softly, Sydnee looked over at the man, he seemed so much more relaxed...
The man began opening up to Sydnee, of course this was only due to Sydnee altering his attitude, but none the less, she would take it. The man spoke of humans and what they had done to him and his family..and how he was forced to look like the very creatures that harmed him so. Sydnee couldn't help but relate to the man. Rocking back upon her heals slightly, Sydnee looked down at the ground. While this relaxed phase lasted...Sydnee would take advantage of it.."I have to turn into one of those vermin to even eat....I am seen by most of those vermin as a sexual toy, by most males of the human variety...And they wonder why my kind hunts them..." At this point Sydnee was speaking in a slow enough tone that she at least didn't sound like she was rambling, but she was feeding the man information about her without meaning to. Sydnee frowned faintly and closed her eyes. "And we are seen as vermin ourselves unless we are in our human form..." Sydnee was certain to choose her words carefully so she didn't just run out and tell the man that she was indeed a soul eating succubus. But Sydnee still managed to tell him just enough to clarify that she kinda understood what vote he was in. There was no escaping the reality of what she was for Sydnee, but the same seemed true for this man.
Looking down at her feet for several moments, Sydnee eventually looked back up towards the man whose name she still wasn't certain of. She figured she might as well ask before he was threatening to rip her tongue out again. "So...I never got a name really..." Tipping her head ever so slightly, Sydnee allowed the slight breeze to push against her hair and clothing. She wouldn't have even noticed the breeze if it wouldn't have barely brushed up against some of the clothing articles the man was using for sheets.

What had come over him? One moment Kiba had been just about ready to strike Sydnee and then the next he was spilling his heart out to her. There was no way that Kiba could ever explain to anyone, let alone himself what had happened to him. But the moment that he touched her Kiba had calmed down. While his brain was saying one thing his body was saying another. In the end his body won. The male calmed down, there was no real reason for him to calm down and he knew it. Whether Sydnee thought so or not for him she was still a threat. The female was still intruding in his home, and was asking him questions that under normal circumstances he never would have answered. He should have never replied to her. He had already gave up too much information to her as it was. He had let it slip that he wasn't human,(though with him that wasn't necessarily a bad thing), he admitted that his current form wasn't one that he was in by choice, allowing the female to already make scarily accurate guesses about his true nature, and now he was telling her his past. A very fragmented and vague past, but a past all the same.
Kiba didn't like opening up to others like this with anyone, especially people he just met. Knowledge was a powerful weapon. In the wrong hands Kiba's secrets could be used against him. It wasn't hard for humans to capture him if they wanted to. He had been captured in the past before, he had escaped but he didn't remember how he had done so to be able to do it again. If his captors knew his secrets then he could easily be imprisoned. That or killed. Telling Sydnee anything could come back to haunt him in the end and he knew that. Yet despite himself he was opening up to her. Why? Why would he do that? Kiba tried to come up with some excuse to his actions as silence crept upon the duo once more. Sydnee didn't seem so much of a threat anymore perhaps. The female clearly had the physical power to overpower him if she wished yet she didn't do it. If what she was saying was true then she had simply come here for a place to hide for the night. How could he fault her for that? Kiba had thought to use this place for the same reasons as she did. Granted he had at least made sure that the house wasn't already taken, and if it had been he would not have taken it for himself. Still that was a pretty weak excuse. Kiba was aware of her reasons earlier and that hadn't changed his mind on the female at all, so why now?
While the male was trying to sort out his strange change of heart Sydnee soon revealed her own feelings towards humans. So he wasn't alone in his hatred of mankind it seemed. Perhaps it was a good thing that he felt less hostile towards Sydnee. He would have never have heard this from her if he was still on the aggressive. Kiba looked the female over slowly from head to toe as she talked about how human males viewed her. “I can see why.” he replied. “As you are now I guess you are what they'd call desirable.” Kiba had seen enough from humans to get a general idea of what their sexual preferences were. Sydnee seemed to fit his understanding on what they thought was attractive. As for him he couldn't really say what he thought about her in that aspect. Kiba was a wolf, but not wolf enough that he was completely uninterested in other humanoids was he? He didn't know. The male had never been in much of a position to be looking for a mate of any kind, let alone look at anyone. “Humans are stupid like that, the males especially. They treat those of the opposite sex amongst their own kind as weaklings to do with as they please, and their females go along with it. I don't see why. In the real world females aren't weaklings. Real females are capable of hunting on their own, protecting themselves, and leading their packs if they want to.” The male chuckled at her next comment.
“I know that all too well.” the replied. “They tear down the forests, chase away all the prey, yet if I take any of their livestock, or just walk around there so called land I'm the pest. I am sick of it. It can't be as bad for you though. As you are now you can pass off as one of them. Even with the wings you can just makes something up about that right?” Kiba was sure that she could do something like that. Even humans liked to dress up oddly even by their own standards. There were certain times of year that he saw them running around pretending to be things they weren't. He wasn't sure why they did it but he knew it was possible for someone who already looked so human to pretend to be one of them even in their true form. The conversation soon turned to something else, his name. “It's Kiba.” the male said before he caught himself. What the hell was he doing? “N-not....that you need to know.” Kiba quickly looked away again, his face turning red when he realized what he was doing. Why was he suddenly speaking so freely to this female to the point of giving her his name for? Something was definitely wrong with this picture but for the life of him he couldn't figure out what it was.
